Attention fiber artists, head to Georgetown for some crocheting and a light brunch at LxWxH Gallery and see the show! Drop in between 10am and 1pm for refreshments, or swing by to see the show until 3pm! Art enthusiasts with no fiber art experience are also welcome!!
The show currently up is titled ‘The Obsessive Unknown Origins of Grotesque Irregularity‘, a beautiful collection of baroque and surreal-inspired works by nine artists from Seattle and New York, including an installation created by artist Mandy Greer from performance and photography work made while in residency in Iceland this past winter.
Supplies and tools will be provided for all interested in partaking, or learning with instruction by Greer!
Also on view are over-the-top baroque works from artists Katy Stone, Izzie Klingels, Bette Burgoyne, Tony Sonnenberg, Casey Curran, Mandy Greer, Tyna Ontko, Nancy Baker, and Ken Weaver (pictured below).
