On your next First Thursday Art Walk you should definitely look for this great piece of street art hanging at the south end of Nord Alley in Pioneer Square – a bright yellow wood panel with grass text, now sadly half alive, it says: “YO! BANANA BOY”. Not only is this the best palindrome ever but it’s a pretty excellent non sequitur, too. The piece was accompanied by several bags of trash, which I did not examine, and a tag that simply outlines trash pickup times which I mistakenly took for a label until after I snapped a photo. This may or may not be a public funded art project. This may or may not be permanent so catch it before it’s gone!
